Why search Relify.com?

Relify.com is a comprehensive real estate website. We provide one stop shopping where you can buy/sell a home, search for an agent, find a mortgage broker and locate a contractor to assist you with your real estate needs. We do not require you to give any personal information when searching our site. In addition we have a My Relify section that allows you to input and save all information pertaining to your house. We are unbiased and free to search and post listings.

Is Relify free?

Absolutely free for brokers, agents, mortgage companies, for sale by owners, contractors, home goods and services.

Where do our listings generate from?

Our information is inputed by agents, for sale by owners (FSBO), management companies, auction companies and broker affiliations.

What type of real estate listings can be posted on Relify.com?

Relify.com provides residential, commercial, auction, for sale by owners (FSBO), rentals and leases within the United States at this time.

Why doesn’t my listing display days on the market?

Relify.com wants to remain unbiased and believes that displaying the days on the market may have the potential of inaccuracy. The multiple list (MLS) provides this information once a home is submitted into the MLS.

POSTING AND EDITING A REAL ESATE LISTING

How do I post a Real Estate listing?
To post a listing you need to set up an account.
  • Click “Sign Up” to set up an account
  • Once you set up an account Go to “Post New Listing” to input a listing.
  • Check “RealEstate” and type the two words you see below and click submit
  • You are now on the posting page to enter a real estate listing.
  • Select if you are doing a residential or commercial listing.
  • Input the basic information in the first and second box.
  • The third box, choose the tab that reflects your needs (broker, management company, builder, owner or auction company)
  • Select if it is a sale, auction or rent/lease
  • Agree to comply with fair housing laws specified by HUD (U.S. department of housing and urban development).
  • Now you can preview your listing, save it for later, postphotos & add documents or post it to the public.

How do I edit my personal information (name, company logo, phone number, profile picture or video)?
  • Click “Login” and enter your email and password and click “login”.
  • Click “My Relify” and select “edit my user information”. You can edit your log-in information, home and work address. Click save and go to media where you can then access your images from a URL or hard drive. In the description box enter what the photo is (profile picture, company logo) and click submit.
  • Once all of your media is selected you can preview your profile and save it.
How do I view/edit my listing?
  • Click “Login” and enter your email and password and click “login”.
  • Click “My Relify” and sign in.
  • Choose which posting you want to edit and from there you can add photos, change the description of the property, change your brokerage information including your website, price, etc… You can also add documents including a disclosure disclaimer.
How do I post photos/documents to my listing?
  • Click “Login” Post a new Listing Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “add photos/documents”.
  • Click the browse button and download one photo and click “add more” until you have loaded all of your photos.
  • Click “save” (at the bottom of the screen).
  • Click “edit this property” on the right side of the screen to finish your posting.
  • Scroll down and click “post to the public” or “renew post” if you are updating your posting.

How long will my listing remain posted?

Your listing will remain for 45 days. Prior to your listing being removed from view, relify will send you a reminder email 7 days and then 3 days before to let you know it will be removed unless you choose to edit or repost it. This will help keep the information as current as possible.

Can I post myself as an agent without having any properties for sale at this time?

Absolutely,
  • simply click “sign in” and then set up an account.
  • Select real estate and check that you are a real estate agent.
  • Underneath you must check allow people to search for me.
  • Click “save” or “save and go to media” where you can upload any photos or media that you have.
  • This will allow consumers to see your profile when they search for an agent.
Why am I not displaying as an agent under the “locate an agent” tab?
  • Login Click “My Relify” and then edit your profile.
  • Make sure that you click the box “allow people to search for me” which is underneath where you checked that you are an agent.
  • It is also beneficial for you to mark which type of real estate you do (residential, commercial or auction).
Why do I need a pin number when I sign up?

It is not mandatory but it does provide additional security for an agent/seller. A seller/agent can upload a discloser/disclaimer document and provide it to the buyer’s agent to print out from their computer. This expedites the process of putting in a buyers offer.

How do I delete a listing once it is off the market?
  • Login
  • Click “My Relify” and then you will have the option to delete each of your postings. Just click delete after the posting of your choice and it will be deleted from the system.
Can I save postings for a future use?

Yes Login and enter your email and password.
  • Click “My Relify”.
  • You will have the option to edit your listings.
  • Once you click edit scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click “remove from public view”.
This option will remove it so no one can view it, but lets you keep it to archive so you can save all the photos and information if you choose to list it later. In addition, if you choose not to repost your listing once it expires, the system will automatically archive your posing as well. This is a great option for someone that rents the same property/properties on a regular basis.

How do I post as a mortgage broker/loan officer?
To post a listing you need to set up an account.
  • Click “Sign Up” and set up an account
  • Once your account is set up, click “Post New Listing”
  • Select Mortgage Broker and type the two words you see below and click submit
  • You are now on the posting page to enter your profile about yourself as a mortgage broker and your company information.
  • You can also upload your profile picture, company logo and a promotional video.
  • Once your information is inputted, click “publish to the public”.
How do I edit my Mortgage Broker information?
  • Click “Login” to access your account.
  • Click “My Relify” and then click “edit” next to your information.
  • You can change or update your posting from this page and then save it, preview it or publish it for the public to see.
How do I delete my posting?
  • Click “Login” to access your account
  • Click “myrelify” and then click “edit” next to your information.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click “remove from public view”.

How do I post as a contractor or retailer?
  • To post a listing you need to set up an account.
  • Click “Sign Up” to set up an account
  • Once you set up an account Go to “Post New Listing” to input a listing.
  • Select “Home Services (Contractor) Resource (Store)” and type the two words you see below and then submit
  • You are now on the posting page to enter your profile information.
  • Click save, add photos, preview or publish
  • If you preview – the system automatically saves your information
  • From the preview section – Click “edit Contractor” to view complete posting with the options at the bottom – save, add photos, preview or publish.
  • You can add a main display photo, a company logo and a promotional video. If you have any promotions you can click the promotions tab and enter any text stating current promotions running. You can enter the expiration of your promotion under your promotional text.
  • This information will display at the top of your posting.
How do I enter promotions I am offering?
  • Once you are logged in you click “My Relify” and select edit next to your company name.
  • Click the “promotions” tab and enter in your promotion.
  • You can enter the expiration of your promotion under your promotional text.
  • This information will display at the top of your posting.
How do I download a video/photo?
  • Click “login” and select “My Relify”
  • Click “edit user information”
  • Click “save and go to media” and upload your photos/video.
  • Once you name your photos/videos you can choose which one will be your profile photo and which will be your video. Once your media is stored in this section you can upload it into your posting section.
  • You can choose which photos and media you want displayed for each posting using the drop down after each selection.
  • If you are already in the posting section and have not downloaded your photos yet, you can here.
  • Just use the browse button and you can upload your images immediately.
How do I save a listing or service in my relify?

When viewing a contractor, mortgage broker or agent you can select “add to my relify” and any information selected will automatically be placed in your “My Relify” section. In addition any property viewed under the tabs labeled residential, commercial, rent/lease or auction can also be added to “My Relify”. At this time the only thing that you are not able to add to My Relify are properties viewed under the tab “results by brokers”.

How do I edit a posting?

Log in and click “My Relify”. Then choose which posting you want to edit and click edit. Once there you can change any of your information including change or add a promotion you may be doing. Click “save” once completed.

How do I delete my posting?
  • Click “Login” to access your account
  • Click “My Relify” and then click “edit” next to your information.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click “remove from public view”.
Why do I need to mark a State and County when posting as a Contractor, Home Service or Retail Resource?

You can select the state and each county you service which gives the consumer a general and a specific way to locate you.

GENERAL QUESTIONS FOR THE CONSUMER

How do I set up an account?
  • Click “Sign Up” at the top right hand corner of the home page.
  • Enter your email address and password and then click “Login”
  • Enter your login information including your name, email address and password.
  • You can enter a pin number if you choose to but it is not mandatory. (Please refer to “why do I need a pin number?” above for additional information.)
  • Complete the home address and work address as desired and click “I am a licensed real estate agent” if you are an agent.
  • Click the box to agree to terms and use. You can then click “save and go to media” or “save”
Why set up a “My Relify” Account?

My Relify allows you to build a database of your real estate needs. You can select homes you want to see, agents and mortgage companies you have used in the past as well as any contractor that has worked on your home. You can input all of your home’s important information under the “Home Action” tab including warranties, dates and model numbers for appliances, and people who have serviced your home. This FREE service simplifies and unifies all of your home’s information and allows you to access it from any computer wherever you are.

Why can I not select properties from the Results by Brokers to be placed into My Relify?

This is something that we are working on, however at this time you can only select properties under residential, commercial, rent/lease and auction to be placed into My Relify.

How do I search for a contractor?

To find a contractor click “Home Services and Resource” tab. Select the type of work you are looking for and then search by county and or State you live.

How can I make my email anonymous?

Once you sign in an anonymous email is given to you. As an agent check the box “anonymous email” under the box “allow people to search for me” when you sign up.
As a mortgage broker – once you login and set up a posting you can check the box “display my anonymous email” located under the box where you input your last name.
As a contractor/retail resource - once you login and set up a posting you can check the box “display my anonymous email” located under the box to enter your last name.

A brokerage, management company, Builder, Owner, and Auction Company all have the option to check the box “display my anonymous email” when you enter a posting. After you complete the first two sections (basic information and residential) you click the tab that corresponds to you (brokerage, management company, owner, builder or auction). After you enter your name check the box for anonymous email.

How do I post my house for sale (For Sale By Owner)?
  • To post a listing you need to set up an account.
  • Click “Sign Up” to set up an account.
  • Once you set up an account go to “Post a New Listing”.
  • Check “Real Estate” and type the two words you see below and click submit.
  • You are now on the posting page to enter a real estate listing.
  • After you input the basic information in the first box (you must include a broker co-op) and the residential information in the second box, choose the tab owner in the third box and input your information. The final box you can select is sale. Agree to comply with fair housing laws (HUD) and then you can preview your listing, save it for later, post photos and add documents or post it to the public.
How do I post a Rental (by owner)?
  • To post a listing you need to set up an account.
  • Click “Sign Up” to set up an account.
  • Once you set up an account go to “Post a New Listing”.
  • Check “Real Estate” and type the two words you see below and click submit.
  • You are now on the posting page to enter a real estate listing.
  • After you input the basic information in the first box (you must enter a broker co-op) and the residential information in the second box, choose the tab owner in the third box and input your information. The final box you can select is rent/lease.
  • Agree to comply with fair housing laws (HUD) and then you can preview your listing, save it for later, post photos and add documents or post it to the public.
What is a broker co-op?

This is the percent that you will pay to the broker for bringing you a buyer or renter. It can be anywhere from 0 up to whatever you want to give.

How can I sort the real estate listings?

After you input the criteria for your property search you can sort the properties by clicking the criteria names at the top. You can click price, city, bedrooms, bath, half bath or broker name. This will organize your listings in ascending or descending order depending on if you click once or twice.

What does “Home Actions” mean in the My Relify Account?

Home Actions allows you to input all of your home’s information in one place with easy access. We built this so the consumer can have all of their home’s information in one place. For example you can input warranty information on appliances, home warranty information, paint colors used, contractors that you have used before and any other information that pertains to your house. To add to the home section, simply click “add new resource”. The date will appear and you can add the title (home warranty), description (who you bought it from). Although the box appears small to enter the information you have plenty of space.
